Reasoned: A series about choices and decisions in tech

Trying something new: Reasoned is a new video series that goes beyond the news and examines the strategic and tactical decisions behind actions that technology companies take in a hyper-competitive and ever-evolving global and local marketplace.

People today are flooded with news, but behind every news are decisions that someone in a leadership position has taken, which often doesn’t come through in the fast paced news reporting that follows.

Most publications today focus their content on either effusive praise or hitjobs, and hardly anyone focuses on choices, second order effects and inversion for analysis.

Reasoned addresses this gap in the market by examining the business decisions in the context of the choices that founders have and their thought process, and connects the dots for readers with relevant historical context, and assess the impact it can have on on India’s Internet ecosystem, on competition in the market, and product decisions that competitors may make.

Reasoned is available on my YouTube channel, but there’s no set date for publishing yet. I’ll do a video when I think it will add value to an audience, and I don’t want to create undue pressure on myself to meet a deadline. I’m doing this because I feel like it. When I don’t, I won’t 🙂
